Thermoforming
Our MAAC thermoformer allows us to do something not done by everyone in our industry. We are able to mould our own plastics for cab body panels, roof panels and interior panels. We are able to take a flat plastic sheet and using the moulds created with our 5 axis router, shape that plastic sheet to anything that we can conceive. This gives us completely consistent panels that are ready to install once they are trimmed.
The advantage to using a coloured sheet of plastic is that if the operator scratches the panel, there is no colour change. The entire plastic sheet is coloured to give a factory fit and finish from day one until the day the machine is retired.
